Karylinn Echols

One visit to Gresham – particularly the Historic Downtown area - was all it took for Karylinn and her family to move to Gresham. The vibrancy, diversity and ‘small town feel’ of the area captured their hearts three decades ago.

Karylinn has been involved in the community in many ways – volunteering, sitting on boards, consulting with organizations, and serving on the Gresham City Council. Karylinn sat on the first board of directors for the Center for the Arts Foundation Board. She was a board member and past president of Metro East Community Media and worked several years at the Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce.

While she loves arts and culture in its many forms, Karylinn claims no artistic talents

whatsoever. Instead she brings decades of leadership experience at the local, state and national level to the Spirit of Gresham. Karylinn holds a masters degree in Organizational Management and a bachelors degree in Political Science. Karylinn travels as often as possible to experience diverse cultures, communities and landscapes.
