Center for the arts foundation
The Center for the Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization with a vision to enrich our community with vibrant and diverse artistic experiences. The Foundation seeks to promote sustained development of the arts by cultivating necessary resources.
The Foundation’s various artistic endeavors enhance the development of community values and provide opportunities for performance and self-expression. These artistic performances provide employment, attract visitors and promote economic development. A long-term goal of the Foundation is to advocate for a community center for the arts.
The Foundation is constantly seeking methods to promote the arts and to encourage your support. The Foundation is supporting Gresham Readers Theatre. The Foundation sponsored the creation of a public art mural on the wall of the building at 3rd and Roberts. Thanks to artist Lee Lauritzen, multiple scenes of the historic development of the City of Gresham are depicted on the mural Your contributions allow us to support these programs. We welcome and are always interested in new Board members and volunteers. Social media support also enhances our success.
