Michael McKeel

Board Member

Michael McKeel (Mike) is a lifelong resident of Gresham, Oregon.


He has practiced both family dentistry in Gresham as well as having designed, built and managed numerous award winning residential and commercial projects for over four decades. He is currently chairman of Multnomah County Fire and Rescue District 10 and immediate past president of Leach Botanical Garden.  He served for many years on the Moda Health Board and on Gresham-Barlow School District Boards.  Among his many other volunteer roles have also been the City of Gresham Design Review Committee for new commercial and multi-family projects, as well as student reviews for the University of Oregon School of Architecture. 


Mike's awards include his induction into the Sports Hall of Fame at Portland State University and named as a Citizen of the Year for the city of Gresham. Among his development projects, Oneonta Townhomes and Salish Pond Cottages have numerous design and building awards and have been featured in several magazines and the Oregonian newspaper. Salish Ponds was included in the book, Good Green Homes. Currently he is engaged in restoration of the Historic Franz Bakery Block and Duane Ely Building in Downtown Gresham.
